NYSAMPO was proud to recognize outstanding achievements in public procurement during its Annual Awards Ceremony. Procurement Professional of the Year

Greg Helton Knight

The Procurement Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual whose contributions and accomplishments reflect excellence in purchasing, professional development, service to their organization, and active involvement in NYSAMPO or NIGP, including a commitment to professional certification.

Greg exemplifies these qualities through his dedication, expertise, and consistent support of his team. He provides reliable guidance, generously shares his knowledge, and ensures those around him have the tools to succeed. Since beginning his career in public procurement just three years ago, Greg has been an active NYSAMPO volunteer, always willing to assist wherever needed. His professionalism and commitment have made a meaningful impact on both his organization and the broader procurement community.



Procurement Manager of the Year

Ashley Scutt

The Best Practices / Agency Award recognizes an agency that has implemented an innovative procurement practice within the past two years, demonstrating clear strategy, measurable impact, and improved outcomes.
