Presenter Bio: James Jasiewicz is a Contract Management Specialist in the Administration Team for the NYS Office of General Services (OGS) Procurement Services Department, where he has served since 2002. With a state government career spanning back to 1984 across departments like Tax & Finance, Labor, and the Office for Technology, James brings deep expertise in commodities, services, technology, and quality assurance. He holds a degree from SUNY Albany, a GWU Project Management Certificate, and dual credentials as a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) and Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO). Outside his primary role, James serves as a DHSES Purchasing and Surge Staff Member at the State Emergency Operations Center and has extensive experience in property management, small business, and community board leadership.
